During the summer of 2016 TBL was recognized by USA Hockey as an American Development Model (ADM) Association. TBL is proud of this distinct honor as we are one of 21 model associations in the nation as of 2017. TBL is committed to age-specific / age-appropriate training while focusing on Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD). SELECT HERE to learn about USA Hockey's ADM program.
Our primary goal is to teach our up-and-coming youth players the game of hockey. By learning and enjoying the game of ice hockey, children not only develop skills for the game, but skills for life as well.
The main season of play runs from August - March. However, we have multiple programs such as Learn to Play, Spring & Summer camps, and more.
We are also very committed to our community, on both sides of the river. Some of the programs we are involved in include the Annual American Red Cross Blood Drive, Adopt-A-Family, Child I.D. Program and our list continues to grow.
The positive impact from this organization and it's predecessors has been felt by many generations. With the incredible support of our volunteer parents, we look forward to helping many more.
Youth hockey is divided into districts depending on where the players live AND their age level. Players in the 6-14U age group are districted by zip codes while the 16-18U are open district meaning you can tryout for any organization's 16/18U team.
The following zip codes, in North St. Louis County, MO and Madison County, IL, are considered to be in the TBL district:
