Twin Bridges proudly introduces our Roller Hockey/Off-Ice Skill Development Clinics for those players in the 6U/8U, 10U, & 12U age divisions.
These clinics are designed to introduce players to the benefit of off-ice skill work and the advantages roller hockey can provide a developing player. Additionally it's a great way to keep our players active in their hockey development while having fun doing it! The clinics will be 1 hour of off-ice skill work; stickhandling, shot technique and selection, footwork and balance. The second hour will be roller hockey instruction and training in a game format.
Why try this clinic?
Utilize the off season to increase skill development: Current NHL Players such as Bobby Ryan (Anaheim Ducks), Henrick Lundqvist (New York Rangers), and St. Louis' own Pat Maroon (Edmonton Oilers) all played competitive roller hockey growing up and Maroon as recently as 2 years ago! There are also many D1 NCAA ice players that play roller hockey in the off season to stay active and continue skill development.
League and Tournament Options: There are local roller hockey leagues that allow competitive game play including the YMCA Skate Center, which offer 3 league sessions per year. There are also tournament options at several local rinks.
This is a FREEclinic but you must register in order to attend (if you cannot attend all of the sessions, that's fine).
