18u Prospects 25/26 Season
We are excited about our growing partnership between the Southern Illinois Ice Hawks and the Twin Bridges Lightning to provide club hockey opportunities on the Illinois side of the river for as many 16&18U players as possible, for as long as possible. After consultation with the TBL board, we have made the decision that we will apply for an 18U Central States Prospects team for the 2025-2026 season.

2007-2008 Birthyears - 18 U
When
- Registration for tryouts will begin on 5/26/2026
- Pre Skates
- Thursday 6/12 and Friday 6/13
- Tryouts
- Thursday 6/19 and Friday 6/20 (cuts can be made after Thursday 6/19)
Where
We will practice at the below rinks.
- RP Lumber (Edwardsville)
- East Alton Ice Arena
- Granite City Ice Center
- McKendree Rec Plex
Practices
At that time, we will try to maintain 1-2 practices per week along with weekend games.
Games
- Families can expect 4-5 trips to the Chicago area suburbs throughout the season.
- End of Season Playoffs are held in Chicago.
Price
- We estimate that the cost will be $3600 for the season. This includes two practices per week from July until games begin in the early fall time frame. The fees cover practice & game ice, referees, trainers, player kit (bag, jerseys, socks, shells), two tournaments as well as Central States registrations for each player. Again, if there is a returning player who already has gear from last year, the fee will be reduced.

18u Central States Prospects

Registration for tryouts will begin on 5/26/2026 and pre-skates & tryouts will be held between June 12 - June 20th.
After Tryouts are completed - those selected for the team will receive offers via email to accept or decline.
