Season

The regular season is the core of Twin Bridges Lightning player development program. We follow the USA Hockey American Development Model for Long Term Athlete Development. Twin Bridges is affiliated with Missouri Hockey.

USA Hockey Registration

Players/Coaches must first register with USA Hockey, as a MISSOURI based player/coach, in order to meet USA Hockey's insurance requirement to be on the ice. We have provided a link below.

Each participant must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.

USA Hockey Registration is FREE for those 6 and under, all other age groups will incur a fee set by USA Hockey.

Ages

We have programs and teams for players from 6U to 18U.

When

Our season begins with evaluations in August and concludes in February.

Where

We utilize multiple rinks in the Metro region for practices, including East Alton Ice Arena, the Ice Zone, Granite City, and R.P Lumber Rink.

Practices

Practice days, times and frequency vary by age division.

Games

As an affiliate of Missouri Hockey, Twin Bridges teams play other clubs across the St. Louis Metro region.

Jerseys

Jersey orders are placed at the beginning of the season.

Players born in even numbered years (ex. 2010) have even jersey numbers, while players born in odd numbered years (ex. 2011) have odd jersey numbers. Players keep their jersey numbers throughout their career with TBL.

Extra Costs

At the 6U and 8U levels, families may opt to play in Jamborees or other events where multiple games are played in a weekend.

At older levels, teams may opt to travel to tournaments outside the St. Louis region.
