Greg Holthaus, from Highland, IL, passed away at the age of 18 from sudden cardiac arrest. Mark and Gail Holthaus, Greg's parents, created the nonprofit Greg Holthaus Memorial Fund to help youths have their heart screened for abnormalities. If Greg had his heart screened for abnormalities, it could have possibly saved his life.
